SEPARATION SYSTEMS PATENT #5057126 The Analysis The GC is configured for the analysis of C1, C2, C3, IC4, IC5, nC5, C6, and C7 dissolved in crude oil.
How It Works The crude oil sample is injected into a patented packed injection system. At 70 seconds after injection, the injector is back-flushed. Thus, only the gases enter the analytical column system. The GC is configured using our patented injector for dissolved gases in crude oil. The system uses automatic multi-port valves and solenoid valves to change the direction of the carrier and auxiliary gases at different times during the analysis.
The analysis is complete in 4-5 minutes.
