Simulated Distillation Analysis

With the advent of highly selective detectors for gas chromatography, a new type of simulated distillation has been developed. This type of simulated distillation consists in acquiring and analyzing simultaneously the specific detector data for several channels.

For example, utilizing the atomic emission detector (AED) or a Chemiluminescent (SCD/NCD) detector, it is possible to acquire a signal from the carbon, sulfur and nitrogen channels simultaneously.

A complete system includes a Model 6890 Gas Chromatograph, data acquisition system and automatic sampler manufactured by Agilent Technologies; all custom configured to include Separation Systems' new small-bore capillary inlet and SimDis Expert® software. Fully warranted by the manufacturer anywhere in the world.
